Katie believes the perfect day starts with a great cup of coffee, includes a little adventure, and ends with one of Oklahoma’s breathtaking sunsets from the back porch. Those wide-open skies are what ultimately called her to return to Oklahoma, inspiring her to leave a successful career in hospitality and pursue the passion that had been tugging at her heart all along—helping dogs and the people who love them.
She’s never lived in a home without a dog and can’t imagine life any other way. Her years in hospitality taught her that every great relationship is built on communication, trust, and understanding, and she brings that same philosophy to every training session. Katie’s goal is to help dogs become confident, well-mannered companions so their families can enjoy more adventures together—whether that’s relaxing on a restaurant patio, exploring a favorite trail, or welcoming guests into their home.
When she’s not coaching dogs and their humans, Katie is usually keeping up with her own four-legged tornado, Whiskey—a young rescue with endless energy and the unwavering belief that every stranger is simply a friend he hasn’t met yet. He keeps life entertaining and reminds her every day that even the most enthusiastic dogs can become incredible companions with the right guidance.
Outside of dog training, you’ll find Katie tending her garden, getting lost in a good book, or planning her next trip to the beach. Give her sunshine, salty air, a fresh cup of coffee, happy dogs, and an Oklahoma sunset, and she’s convinced life doesn’t get much better than that!
